Answers for Dental Professionals and Their Patients

Whether you’re a dental practice partnering with MASC or preparing a patient for in-office anesthesia, these answers cover the most common questions we receive about safety, comfort, and logistics.

Questions Commonly Asked by Dental Offices

No. MASC provides a complete mobile operating setup. We bring all necessary anesthesia machines, monitors, emergency equipment, and medications—so your practice doesn’t need to purchase or maintain any new equipment.
Our providers administer both conscious (moderate) sedation and general anesthesia, depending on patient needs and procedure type. All anesthesia is delivered under hospital-grade protocols and continuous monitoring.

MASC provides in-office anesthesia services for dental practices throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Questions Commonly Asked by Patients

Nausea and vomiting are uncommon. We use a combination of three anti-nausea medications during anesthesia and apply local anesthesia at the treatment site to minimize discomfort. This reduces the need for IV narcotics, further decreasing post-operative nausea.

Yes. A MASC anesthesia provider remains at the patient’s side from induction through recovery—monitoring vital signs, ensuring safety, and managing comfort throughout the entire procedure.
